Making the right energy investment decisions for your business.

From utility-scale battery storage and grid infrastructure to commercial and industrial decarbonisation — we provide the independent technical rigour that developers, lenders, and businesses need to make confident energy decisions. Senior engineers on every engagement.

What we do

Energy infrastructure projects such as battery storage, renewable developments, grid connections, or green hydrogen involve complex technical decisions with significant financial consequences. Developers need independent engineering oversight. Lenders need credible technical assurance. Both need engineers who understand the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and system design through to construction monitoring and operational performance.

We also work with commercial and industrial clients who face a different but equally pressing challenge: reducing energy costs and meeting decarbonisation obligations without the internal expertise to evaluate the options properly. Whether it is a hotel heating system, a brewery’s steam generation, or a manufacturer’s electrification programme, the analysis is the same: first understand the problem, model the options honestly, and deliver a plan that makes commercial sense to act on.

In both cases, a senior engineer is involved from start to finish. The person you meet at the first conversation is the person who does the work.

Who we work with

Renewable Energy Developers & IPPs

Solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid project developers who need owner’s engineer services, technical due diligence, and independent design review across the UK and wider Europe.

Infrastructure Lenders & Investors

Banks, infrastructure funds, and project finance teams that require independent technical due diligence and credible assurance before committing capital to energy projects.

Hospitality & Leisure

Hotels, resorts, gyms, and leisure spaces where energy is a significant operating expense, yet customer experience is non-negotiable.

Commercial & Industrial

Commercial real estate, food and beverage manufacturers, and industrial SMEs navigating electrification, decarbonisation obligations, and rising energy costs without dedicated in-house expertise.

Why ENEREKA

Three founders, 25+ years combined experience.

Our team covers decarbonisation strategies, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy systems design, battery storage, and software integration. The full technical stack for any energy project and building decarbonisation alike. We have delivered projects across the UK with active coverage across Europe.

Vendor-independent.

We have no commercial relationships with equipment suppliers. What we recommend is based on what the project actually requires, not on what generates a referral fee.

Investment-grade analysis.

Whether it is a technical due diligence report for a project lender or a building retrofit business case, our outputs are structured to support financial decisions. NPV analysis, risk assessment, phased capex plans. Our goal is to deliver what you need to get budget approval from your stakeholders.

End-to-end delivery.

From initial assessment and strategy through to contractor procurement, installation oversight, commissioning, and post-completion monitoring. We are as comfortable on a factory floor or a building site as we are in the modelling software.

Selected projects

Solar PV panels and HVAC equipment on a commercial building rooftop
Multi-Site Public Estate Retrofit

Energy strategy and retrofit delivery for a portfolio of 11 buildings including a major sports and leisure centre. The programme covered rooftop solar PV with battery storage, smart building controls across 9 sites, BMS integration, air-source heat pumps, upgraded air handling with VFD motors, and water efficiency measures.

Outcome: 35% reduction in energy costs across the estate, 20% carbon reduction. The sports centre can now operate off-grid for 4-5 hours per day.

County-Wide Decarbonisation Programme

Technical lead on a 22-building programme spanning schools, offices, and leisure centres. Scope included LED lighting, high-efficiency heating systems, solar PV installations, air handling upgrades with variable frequency drives, new building management systems, and CHP integration.

Outcome: 1.7 million kWh annual energy reduction, 443 tonnes CO₂ avoided per year. A single site achieved over £100,000 in annual savings.
