How we work
Whether we are working on a hotel’s heating system, a commercial office portfolio, a brewery’s steam generation, or a manufacturer’s electrification programme — the work follows a logical sequence. Four stages, each delivering a clear output.

01
Diagnose
Know where you stand.
A focused assessment of your current energy performance, regulatory exposure, and improvement potential — whether that covers a building, a production facility, or both. We analyse energy consumption by system and process, benchmark against comparable operations, and identify where the most significant savings opportunities sit.
Deliverables: Energy consumption analysis, carbon baseline, regulatory compliance review, benchmarking, and improvement opportunities with indicative costs and savings.
Timeline: 2–4 weeks
02
Strategise
Know what to do and when.
An investment-ready strategy for a single site, facility, or portfolio. We model every credible intervention — heat pumps, fabric upgrades, process electrification, solar PV, controls, heat recovery — and present the cost, savings, payback, and recommended sequencing for each. This is the document that goes to your board, investors, or lender.
Deliverables: Techno-economic analysis, phased investment plan with NPV and payback, scenario comparisons, regulatory compliance pathway, and a supporting financial model.
Timeline: 6–10 weeks

03
Implement
Get it delivered properly.
We remain involved through delivery — reviewing contractor proposals, checking design compliance, monitoring construction quality, and overseeing commissioning. The objective is to ensure that what gets built matches what was specified and performs as modelled.
Deliverables: Contractor procurement and bid evaluation, design review, construction monitoring, commissioning support, and independent verification that installed systems meet performance targets.
Timeline: 3–12 months
04
Monitor
Verify it keeps working.
Investments in energy efficiency deliver value only if they continue to perform. We provide ongoing monitoring, reporting, and optimisation — identifying anomalies early, tracking actual performance against projections, and preparing the data that investors, regulators, and boards require.
Deliverables: Continuous energy monitoring, quarterly performance reports, ESG and carbon reporting support (GRESB, EPRA, TCFD), annual strategy review, and operational staff engagement.
Timeline: Ongoing retainer
